We are proud of the relationships we have built with Winemakers from around the world and here are a few of them;
Domaine Paul Mas, Languedoc Region, France
The story begins in 1892 at Château Paul Mas in Conas hamlet, in the splendid town of Pézenas, the city of famous playwright Molière, when Jean-Claude Mas' Great Grand-Father purchased the first family vineyard. The estates then expanded to Montagnac, with Nicole vineyard and Mas des Tannes, to Malras near Limoux, with Domaine Astruc, to Gaja et Villedieu, with Château Arrogant Frog, and to Ceyras, with Château Crès Ricards.
Domaines Paul Mas is made up of 320 hectares (790 acres) of owned vineyards, to which we can add 800 ha (1976 acres) of contracted vineyards. They work with more than 30 different grape varieties, both native and noble, and a fantastic diversity of terroirs, in the Languedoc region.
Jean-Claude Mas was born in a winemaking environment in the Languedoc, in Pézenas. At the age of 3, during the harvest, he escaped from his mother and ran 2.5 km to meet his grandfather in the cellar! This was a moment that he never forgot, when his interest and passion for wine were born!
