The vineyard of Les Garans is situated to the north-east of the village of Fleurie and is acknowledged as one of the finest sites for growing top quality grapes because of its combination of unique soil composition and specific microclimate.

Maison Louis Latour has exclusive rights over this vineyard and as a further guarantee, limits the yield to produce the best grapes possible. Remaining loyal to the traditional techniques of the region, the vinification process requires the grapes to be fermented in whole clusters under a blanket of carbon dioxide optimising the freshness of the fruit.

The wine is deliciously floral on the nose and possesses great smoothness on the palate with a wonderful balancing acidity.

Pouilly Fumé Château Favray expresses a floral nose. A marked minerality emphasizes an expressive fruitiness on the palate. Its liveliness unites with an elegant harmony. Although generally served young, it can be kept from 5 to 10 years depending on the vintage.

The 2009 vintage : The Pouilly Fumé Château Favray 2009 is flower in the nose with notes of citrus fruit and white peach. The mouth is generous and ample, while remaining smart thanks to a good freshness.

Davilla Valminor - Rias Baixas 2007

This is an Albarino based wine blended with loureiro and treixadura, two indigenous Spanish grapes, and lightly oaked. This is thicker and rounder than many Albarinos, but it maintains the stark acidity and saline qualities that make these wines great with seafood.

The nose had pear, nectarine, loamy mineral and a touch of citrus with some wafts of a fresh sea breeze. The palate was pretty complex with citrus, seat salt/brine, a bit of vanilla, peach and pear with an awesome florality. This is not really your typical Albarino, but it is certainly darn tasty and the floral notes and orchard fruits work extremely well.

This wine comes from a selection of the best Tempranillo grapes in the Rioja Alta and Alavesa. Long masceration have provided it with a stable and powerful tannic structure. It's long ageing in american oak allows it to age well in the bottle and ensure a fine long lasting wine. Medium ruby. Spicy cherry fruit on the nose with note of leather. Medium weight. A hint of kaffir lime and lemongrass is evident on the back palate and the finish shows great persistence.

Deep crimson in colour with lifted perfume of blueberries and violets with lovely biscuity vanillin characters and hints of briary spice on the nose. On the palate blueberries and satsuma plums are the dominating fruit characters marrying well with the vanillin oak. Fine silky tannins and hints of pepper balances the sweet fruit and the wine finish is long with black cherries, hints of mocha and briary spice.
