Aromatic, stewed plums and chocolate on the nose with herbaceous mulberry leaves. 12 months in fermentation in American oak has provided our Merlot with spicy cinnamon and chocolate flavours, whilst 30 % French oak fermentation has contributed warm cedar and vanilla characters. Ripe stewed plums are complemented with blackcurrants on the palate. Serve with antipasto, roast lamb, and pork or lamb-based Asian cuisine.
